In memory of John Mastronardi:

When we think of John, a smile crosses our face.
He’s left our world enriched, a better place.
There’s not a single soul whose heart he didn’t touch.
His easy gentle ways we all will miss so much.
John met the special needs of each student in his care.
With patience and understanding that were beyond compare.
No problem would undo him;
Each challenge he’d calmly face.
And in those smiling eyes there was no selfish trace.
If we can just remember the example John has set.
To smile, to help, to give, to care.
Our world is in his debt.
It starts with just one person.
A human chain of love.
And John will be the strongest link,
In heaven up above!
